How to Buy Shrimp

Look for shrimp with firm white meat. Avoid pink meat.
Do not buy shrimp with black spots or rings.
Make sure the shell is not yellow.
Avoid shrimp that smells of anything other than salt water.
Buy enough for 150 gram of shelled shrimp or double the quantity for peeled shrimp for each person.
